Best time to visit Phu Quoc
It is healthy to stay in Phu Quoc. The temperatures are very pleasant, varying between 25 and 35 C degree. The hottest months are May and June (34-36 ° C). As in the whole region of Southern Vietnam, there are only 2 seasons in Phu Quoc: the dry and rainy season. The dry period runs from October to the end of March. Note, however, that the humidity is higher, which can be a bit stuffy. The wet season runs from April to the end of September. The temperatures are milder but we must keep in mind that a heavy downpour can fall on us at any time!

The dry season in Phu Quoc usually lasts from October until the end of March. The sky is blue and sunny, the sea is calm and it is hot (26-36 ° c). There is something to enjoy the dream landscapes and sea side bars on the best beaches on the island.
The humidity is high, however, especially in March. It is therefore rather pleasant to swim in the paradise lagoons to cool off and enjoy the sweet taste of coconut juice and fresh fruits.

Phu Quoc during the rainy season (April to the end of September)
The rainy season in Phu Quoc usually begins around April and continues until the end of September. The humidity drops and the temperatures are milder (25-32 °c), which allows for more pleasant walks if the hot weather bothers you. Nevertheless, very heavy showers, and even storms, can occur once every two days, which can spoil your pretty ride. These intensify between July and the end of September and the sky becomes dark and cloudy. We advise you not to go to Phu Quoc during these months.
In the North of the island, the waterfalls and rivers are more impressive and the tropical vegetation is green lush. For adrenaline enthusiasts, the west coast is a real playground since the sea is more hectic. Finally, there are extra indoor activities such as visiting the historic Phu Quoc prison (coconut tree prison) or some handicraft factories. Looking at the itinerary, you will quickly be aware that no space is left for boredom.
