4 days in Bangkok & Kanchanaburi

Day 01: Bangkok - Arrival
Upon arrival at Bangkok airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Bangkok has often been called the ‘Venice of the East’ thanks to its man-made canals. The afternoon is at leisure for relax or your own discovery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi
Morning drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi for 2 hours to take train at Train Station in city of Kanchanaburi at 10.00 AM to Nam Tok Train Station. The two-hour journey along Thailand–Burma Death Railway is one of Thailand’s most scenic and most popular train rides. It’s the history that makes the ride so special and worth visiting the Thailand–Burma Railway. Then, get off the train and transfer to the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum, which provides an equally illuminating introduction to the railway’s history. Afternoon, transfer to hotel for a rest. Overnight at hotel in Kanchanaburi.
Day 03: Kanchanaburi – Maeklong Market & Damnoen Saduak - Bangkok
This early morning, after breakfast depart for the Mae Klong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market) in Samut Songkhram, commonly called Siang Tai (life-risking) Market where the stalls and parasols (or canvas) are attached to the railway. When each signal of the arriving train rings, chaos happens: vendors will rush to close their parasols and canvas, along with clearing all goods that will obstruct the coming train at a great speed. Once the train passes, parasols and canvas will be reopened as goods are again put into their usual place next to the railroad.

After that, head to Damnoen Saduak floating market, which has been drawing curious visitors for centuries due to the remarkable practice of buying and selling goods that takes place almost entirely on water. Take to the canals on a piroque and watch how the locals do business before having a go yourself. Fancy some tropical fruit or a beautifully carved Buddha? Just ask for the price – and then name yours! Transfer back to Bangkok and enjoy lunch at local restaurant (by your expense). After drive to Bangkok. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 04: Bangkok, city tour – Departure
Pick up from hotel. Visit Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha: This city landmark should be a must on any visitor’s itinerary, which features some of the most spectacular architecture in Southeast Asia. Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the magnificent Royal Chapel, Wat Phra Kaew in the same compound enshrines the Emerald Buddha Image, most revered by people.
Cross Chao Phraya River by boat to visit Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). The most attractive in this temple is Khmer-style pagoda. Wat Arun was restored during brief Thonburi period to be the Royal Chapel of King Taksin.Transfer to airport for departure flight.
