Vietnam Laos And Cambodia Tour

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city arrival (Meal: N/A)
Welcome by our guide at the airport in Ho Chi Minh City, the starting point of our Vietnam Laos Cambodia tour. Formerly known as Saigon, this city is the biggest one in Vietnam, offering tourists exhilarating kicks on every sense. Considered by locals as “sleepless city”, the city center area is bustling in the day time and even more lively at night. Night life in Ho Chi Minh city is an inviting paradise for whom who love bars and parties. This city is currently ranked as the second most dynamic city in the world based on factors that contribute to long-term economic growth such as innovation, inspiration, investment and infrastructure. Check in your hotel and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city half day tour - half day Cu Chi tunnel tour (Meal: B)
In the morning, we pass by the hallmarks of the city which used to be called “The Gem of Far East”, Cathedral of Notre Dame which is built by the French in 1880, the first basilica of Vietnam, Central Post Office which is an iconic symbol of Saigon mixing of Gothic, Renaissance and French architecture, Former Catinat Street (now Dong Khoi Street) with a score of restored French buildings, Headquarter of the People’s Committee of Chi Minh City (formerly Central Park) which is considered as the most beautiful colonial building of the city.

If we still have time, continue to visit War Remnants Museum – Ho Chi Minh city’s past during the years of the American-Vietnamese War (1954-1975), Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine to discover traditional Vietnamese medicine dating back more than 3000 years old ago.

The morning tour concludes with Cho Lon (Chinatown) with the Temple of the Celestial Lady and Ben Thanh Market - the representative image of Ho Chi Minh City.

In the afternoon, take an excursion to the Cu Chi tunnels in the suburbs of the city. Being the ex-battlefield of the cu chi tunnels Indochina War, Cu Chi is home to an immense network of underground galleries and narrow gutters hand-dug by guerrillas and Vietnamese fighters during the fight against the French and American. On arrival, descend underground to discover a picturesque world: tunnels of a length: 200 km, width: 70 cm, height: 90 cm, sheltering several meeting rooms, kitchen rooms, hospitals and so on. Please get ready to get a little dirt under the ground (Note: Casual clothes are highly recommended in this day).

After finishing tour, come back to city center and overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city – Dalat (Meal: B)
In the morning, we depart from Ho Chi Minh city to Dalat. Located 300km away from Ho Chi Minh city and on a plateu 1.500 meters above the sea level, this the hill town is called by many people as ‘Le Petit Paris’. The closer you get to Dalat, the more refreshingly cool climate you will feel. Da Lat is famous for its wide variety of flowers, vegetables and fruit from its surrounding farmlands. Besides, this city is also rich in beautiful landscape, evergreen forests and minority villages. On the way, you will pass along pine forest, picturesque bendy trails, streams and valleys before reaching Dalat in the early afternoon.

On arrival, time for yourself to explore street food in this little lovely city. Vietnamese sandwich and hot soya bean milk are highly recommended for the first evening to warm your body up in the cool weathers. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 4: Dalat full day tour (Meal: B)
In the morning, we reach Dalat Cable Car Station to get the panorama view of the Dalat City and enjoy the marvelous sight of the green lush valley stretched down to the South. After being satisfied with the open air natural landscape from high view point, we move on to Tuyen Lam lake.

Surrounding by pine forest, Tuyen Lam Lake looks like a crystal clear mirror reflecting the Truc Lam Zen Monastery, at present is the biggest Zen University in Viet Nam. Keep driving southward, you will visit to Datanla waterfall worming through many steps of rock-slits, and then hides itself inside the jungle. This is paradise for whom who love great exciting and adventurous activities. On the way back to Dalat City center, we visit the Bao Dai King’s Summer Palace, house of the last Emperor Vietnamese.

After lunch time, we continue our trip to Da Lat Flower Garden is known as the heaven of flowers with an extensive collection of local and exotic flower types. For art lovers, XQ Embroidery village (XQ Historical Village) is a worthy place to see the finest handmade embroidery products you have ever seen. Keeping on visiting a giant golden statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. If time permits, we will stop The Cock Church (The Cathedral of Dalat city), known with a bronze rooster was placed on the top of the tower and the European Gothic architectural style since 1931.

In the evening, free at your own leisure at night market or Xuan Huong Lake area in the city center. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 5: Dalat – Nha Trang (Meal: B)
In the morning, we depart from Dalat to Nha Trang which is becoming widely known among both international and local tourists in recent years because of its stretching beach, best scuba diving center of Vietnam as well as delicious sea-food to enjoy. Spend your own time on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang full day island tour (Meal: B, L)
Depart early in the morning the city pier to catch speed boat to start our island tour. Nha Trang is famous for the beautiful islands and bays, many of them are still untouched by tourist. The crystal clear water with excellent visibility here make the best environment for snorkeling, diving and exploring the sea bed.

After visits to several islands, we also stop at the unique Tri Nguyen Aquarium, crafted like a barnacle covered pirate ship. Enjoy your lunch on board while docking alongside one of the floating fishing villages to see where the city's freshest catch are caught. Arrive back hotel after tour and overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang – Hanoi (Meal: B)
Free at leisure until your flight from Nha Trang to Hanoi. Welcome to the1000 year old capital of Vietnam. The name Hanoi actually means ‘Inside the river' and other name in the past like Thang Long means Ascending Dragon. Once the capital of French Indochina, the European structural style made its mark in the city's architecture, which you might quickly notice in the city center area.

Depending on your location of hotel, you may pass Old Quarter and its 36 streets – the historical heart of the 1000-year-old merchant city whose street’s names are originated from the goods produced and sold there: Cotton, Iron, Sugar, Traditional Medicine and so on. Optional stop at Ma May Street to visit the Ancient House of Vietnamese – the characteristic feature of traditional Hanoi architecture. The rest of the day is free for your relaxation. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi full day city tour (Meal: B)
Embark on a tour around Hanoi. We will drive along tree-lined avenues to discover Hanoi’s most remarkable cultural and historical monuments:

First of all, we make a visit to the recently excavated Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the first political stronghold of the millennial capital. Continue to Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam under Ly and Tran dynasties. This ancient site offers a chance to take unique photos of turtle steles, pavilions, courtyards and passageways that were once used by royalty.

Then together we head to Ba Dinh Square, the complex of former Indochina Governor Palace which is close to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house. Another highlight of the trip is Vietnam Museum of Ethnology – the collection of 25,000 ancient and contemporary ethnic objects from all corners of Vietnam.

After touring, we enjoy Water puppet shows which is recognized as an UNESCO Intangible Heritage.

At night, it is your own time strolling around the Old Square to witness the daily life of Hanoians. Please feel free to taste some street food, have some beers or cocktails at local bars, and immerse yourself in the vivid colors of Hanoi at night. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Meal: B, L, D)
Morning depart for Halong by shuttle bus (without private guide), the most beautiful bay of Vietnam, one of the most beautiful landscapes of Asia. Located 180 km east of Hanoi and close to China, Halong is an expanse of water, about 1500 km². It is famous for thousands of limestone karsts of all shapes and sizes emerging from the emerald waters, with magnificent cellars eroded in the islands and islets over the centuries by the wind and the sea. On arrival, welcome by cruise staff and embark with the shuttle boat for short transfer (approximately 5 minutes) to the main cruise. Welcome cocktail and check-in on board.

Enjoy your lunch while cruise passing by some of the most scenic locations mountains and a floating village. In the afternoon, swimming, kayaking if weather permitted (Kayak is on your own expense). Do not miss the chance to capture breath taking and sunset scene on the bay. In the evening, dinner is served while the cruise anchored in quiet water area. Overnight on board.

Day 10: Halong Bay cruising/ kayaking (Meal: B, L, D)
The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. The breakfast is served in the restaurant with morning view of bay’s landscape, then continue our journey.

You will be transferred to day boat to explore the deeper and lesser known part of the bay. Be prepare for a full day of kayaking, swimming and sun bathing. Lunch will be served on board or on a private beach based on the weather condition. After returning to main cruise, we enjoying swimming at the untouched area. In the evening, deluxe Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. Overnight on board.

Day 11: Halong Bay – Hanoi (Meal: B, Brunch)
In the early morning, greet the morning as the first ray shines through thousands karst of the bay. We then visit caves of Halong Bay including the French-baptized “Surprise Cave” , study stalagmites and stalactites which date back thousands of years ago. Have brunch on board. Return to Hanoi at the end of the afternoon then transfer to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi - LuangPrabang (Meal: B)
Today we continue our Vietnam Laos Cambodia tour by a flight from Hanoi to LuangPrabang. Considered as the heart of Laotian culture, Luang Prabang is a great mixture of various historical and artistic heritages, reflecting the fusion of Lao traditional style with that of the colonial era. This city is also surrounded by natural landscapes including Mekong River, range of mountain, waterfalls and dotted with little villages inhabited by different ethnic groups. On arrival, our guide will welcome and escort your group back to hotel for relaxation. Overnight in LuangPrabang.
Day 13: LuangPrabang – Pak Ou Cave – city tour (Meal: B)
Morning we embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we disembark the boat to visit traditional villages, and continue taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving.

When coming back to Luang Prabang, our guide will take you to visit National Museum at the former Royal Palace, then continue with the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and Wat Mai. We also visit these sights as well as the magnificent Wat Xiengthong.

Late afternoon you climb 329 steps to the top of Mount Phousi for sunset view. From there, we explore the Night Market (if time permits). Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 14: LuangPrabang – Kuangsi waterfall – SiemReap (Meal: B)
First we visit the morning Phousi Market then local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, a Hmong village, Ban Ou, a Laoloum village and Ban Thapene, a Khmu village.

Continue to the beautiful Khuang Si Waterfall, a magnificent waterfall with 3 tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into shallow pools. Surrounded by a lush tropical jungle, the pools have cascades of up to 5 metres high. There are trails leading to the top of Kuang Si Falls, where you can see the stream feeding into the falls. Wear proper footwear as the trails can rather get slippery, especially during the wet season. There you can cool off with a refreshing swim or walk along the forest trails.

Then we transfer you to airport for your flight to SiemReap. Overnight in SiemReap.
Day 15: SiemReap full day tour with Apsara show (Meal: B, D)
Today is a full day to explore the mytic Angkor Wat. Morning you will visit the “Great City” of Angkor Thom, visits include the famous Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon dedicated to visit the most famous & magnificent Angkor Vat temple. In the evening, you will be transfered to the restaurant for dinner with Apsara dance show. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 16: Siem Reap - Banteay Srei - Ta Prohm - Mebon - Sras Srang - Pre Rup (Meal: B)
Today you will have the chance to explore other impressive temples:

Banteay Srey: loosely translates to ‘citadel of the women,’ but this is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. It displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art.

Ta Prohm: This quiet, sprawling monastic complex is only partially cleared of jungle overgrowth. Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees grow from the towers and corridors offering some of the best ‘tree-in-temple’ photo opportunities at Angkor. Flocks of noisy parrots flit from tree to tree adding to the jungle atmosphere. Continue to visit Mebon temple. Enjoy sunset at Pre Rup Temple. Overnight in SiemReap.
Day 17: Siemreap departure (Meal: B)
Free at leisure until your flight time. Our guide wishes you safe journey ahead, end of tour.
